Whew! One More Card for Today... Sketch Saturday

I have just one more card to post today.  This image is called Sew Leah from Whimsy Doodles.  I bought her today on sale!!  So cute!  She reminds me of my little Maddi.  She has been helping her daddy in the garden a lot this week.   This sketch is from Sketch Saturday.  Good night my friends!!  Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Lots of Thanks to the Queen of Tarts!!

This week at Oh, Alice the challenge was to use some kind of yummy treat in our creations.  What could be better than this tasty little cupcake??  You can find this image at The Fresh Brewed Designs Digi Shop.  This is Angel Cake Cupcake... adorable, don't ya think??!!  This card is also for the Thank You Challenge over at I Love Digi.

Happy Birthday to My Sweetie!!

Today is my husband's birthday!! He has had a rough year, and I just wanted to take this time to let him know how much I love him. The kids can't wait to give him his presents and cake when they get home from school. We are also going to go out for pizza!! I hope he has the greatest day!!

What a Shape!!

Hi there!!  Yay!  It is almost the weekend.  I can't wait because my little Dominc is going to be making his First Communion on Sunday.  We have been working hard around the house gettting everything ready for the big day!!  I just love throwing parties and I hope Dominic enjoys his special day.  I did take a break this morning to make a card.  When looking through challenges to do, I saw that many of the blogs I follow are doing a "shape" theme this week.  I hardly ever make shape cards, they intimidate me!!But I headed over to look at the new Meljen's Designs images released today and just fell in love with this cute little dolphin.  I have been trying really hard not to buy on impulse, but I just had to have him... right away!!  That is what I love about digis... instant gratification!!  I kept him pretty simple.  Just colored him with Copics and used a little glitter.  I tried adding other things, but they just weren't working for me!  Thanks for spending part of your day with me!!

Here are the challenges for this card:

Meljen's Designs DT- shape card
Cupcake Craft Challenge- Don't be Square
Papertake Weekly- Do Something Different

This second card is what Dominic created for the Karen's Kids' Challenge.  I thought it was very creative of him to use shells to decorate his card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!  The kids are both very proud of their creations, and so am I!

Karen's Doodles Kids' Challenge... Brown Combos!

This weekend Dominic and Allison both had a chance to make cards for the Karen's Doodles Kids' Challenge. The challenge was to use either brown and blue, brown and pink, or brown, blue and pink!! Karen's Doodles Kids' Challenge... Embossing

Yay! Allison and I finally got to play in the Karen's Doodles Kids' Challenge! This is the third challenge for this new and exciting challenge blog and I have just not had time to participate until now! Allison (my five year old)loved coloring the image, picking out the colors, and running the paper through the cuttlebug. I think the cuttlebug is her favorite of all my crafting "toys", so this was the perfect challenge for her to do!! She is going to give this card to her teacher tomorrow... she is really proud of it. Thanks for stopping by! Have a beautiful day!

What I was Up to Tonight!

Tonight my kids actually went to bed super early!! Yay! Must have been all the time they spent outside today in the beautiful weather we had. I had some time to myself and I worked on this little thank you. I used the sketch from I Love Digi... isn't it fun?! The adorable bear image is from Meljen's Designs. So cute!! I don't have many bear images and this really jumped out at me when it was one of Meljen's Monday Freebies. It is so cute! The paper I used is all SU! I just got the DP last night at my stamp camp. It is from the Sweet Pea stack in the current mini catalog. It was hard for me to part with it b/c there are only two pieces of each in the stack, but I thought it would go great with this layout. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend! Hard to believe that tomorrow is already Sunday.

Tea Time!

This year I am my kindergartener's Daisy Troop leader. We are having a garden tea party to celebrate the end of the year. It should be really cute with "tea" and fun little party foods for the girls and their moms. I was in charge of the invites and I remembered that I had this adorable little tea stamp set. I hope the girls like them!! I think they turned out pretty cute!! I am going to submit this to the Busy Beauties first challenge. It is an Alice inspired challenge... I always think Tea when I think of Alice!! You should go check out this amazing new blog. The ladies there are the sweetest and Carolyn and Thomas create the most adorable images! We Could Use Your Help!

Hi friends!! The team I am on for The Greeting Farm's current challenge has made it to round 3!! This week we were to make a scrapbook page. I do scrap, but not very often so this one was hard for me! This is a picture of my little Allison's first Halloween, isn't she just too cute!! It's hard for me to believe that she will already be 6 in July... time goes too fast!

We could really use your votes to help keep us in the running. Our picture was somehow lost and we missed out on a day and a half of voting as our entry just made it into the galleria today. Please head on over to The Greeting Farm and leave us a comment!! Our group is named the Farmaholics.

Thanks for your help!
