Summer Days

This summer just seems to be flying by!!  We have had lots of fun swimming, going to the zoo, visiting Grant's Farm, going to the lake, and getting stuff done around the house.  It is hard to believe that in one month my kids will be going back to school.  This week AllSorts is celebrating summer with a Summer Days Challenge.  The image I used is from TiddlyInks called Going Swimming.  They have a great sale going on right now so I snagged a few of the new Halloween images as well!  The papers are all SU! and the ribbon is from the dollar section at Michaels.   Hope you like it... I think it turned out pretty Cute!

Reuse and Recycle with Fab n' Funky

This week's challenge at Fab n' Funky is to Reuse and Recycle.  I was able to make this card using only papers from my scrap pile :)...  I always say I am going to use them, but my paper addiction usually gets the best of me and I cut up a new piece!  The ribbon came from a card I made ages ago that I know I will never send or give to anyone... reuse!!  I just love these colors together... so warm and cozy.  The sentiment is from P.M.S.   Glad you could spend part of your day with me!!

Happy or Sweet at Crafty Creations!!

This week's challenge at Crafty Creations is something Happy or Sweet.  We are proud to have Regina Easter from the Cutting Cafe as our sponsor once again with a wonderful prize up for grabs to a lucky at random winner. The prize is any 3 sets from her site, winners choice.  Regina was kind enough to give the DT some adorable shaped card files to play with.  I chose the icecream card.  I used SU! cardstock and DP along with some fruit punch stickles to create my sweet treat.  I hope to see you at Crafty Creations this week!

Simple Elegance

Good Morning!  It has been a few days since I posted last.  We have been busy at our house moving bedrooms around and painting.... getting ready for Baby Elise's arrival at the end of September!  I wanted to get the kids all situated in their new rooms before the baby comes so there would be a little less transition for them to deal with!  I am so happy with the way everything turned out.  Once I get the rooms more organized, I will post some pictures!!

This card is for two challenges.  The first one is the Daisy Doodles Here Comes the Bride Challenge.  This stamp is extra special to me because I named it!!  Jules had a challenge going on to name this stamp and I submitted "Simple Elegance", and WON!!  Yay!  I think it is the prettiest little wedding cake ever.

The other challenge is Card Makin' Mamas' embossing challenge.  I embossed the base of the card stock with a CB folder!!  I know I have said it before, but I just love embossing on white card stock.  I hope everyone is doing fabulous!  Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

OCC Sketch Challenge and Little Red Wagon Trees

It has been a really long day, so my title is not all that catchy!  (It just says what it is!)  This was a fun card to make.  I used the current sketch from OCC's Sketch Challenge Blog for the layout.  The papers, trees, flowers, and sentiment are all SU!  The trees are for the Tree Challenge at Little Red Wagon.  The mermaid image is MerMae from Some Odd Girl.... love her!  Thanks for stopping by!!

Some Odd Girl Challenge 5

It is time for a new Some Odd Girl Challenge!!  This challenge is to use stripes, dots, and a BIG title on your project.  Dancin' Mae is the image on this card.  It was hard to pick an image from the new release (I was only allowing myself one!!) but I fell in love with this one!!  Doesn't she look so happy!!??   I had the letters in my stash that I think I got in Target's dollar bin about a year ago!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!  Have a great weekend!

Kisses in the Air

I love working with white and an accent color, so the challenge at TIOT was perfect for me... the only problem is that I didn't realize I had to use a stamp from Susanna's store... oops!  I will have to make another card for that challenge... I have tons of her stamps!  I love embossing on white... so elegant!  The sentiment is from the newest release at Paper Makeup Stamps.  Love it!  I used my SU! butterfly die for the sweet little butterflies for the Layers Challenge at Flutterby Wednesdays.  I think it turned out pretty!  This is my third post for the day.  Please scroll down for my DT cards for both Fresh Brewed and Crafty Creations!!

Fun Sketch at Crafty Creations!!

This week Jeanet has created a super fun sketch for you to follow at Crafty Creations!!  I am always game for a great sketch!!  This is an image from the last release from Paper Makeup Stamps.  I ended up getting the whole set, but this is the image I was after!!  I just really liked it for some reason!!  The release came with TONS of great images and sentiments!!
