Friends are Angels

Tonight I made this card using a sentiment I bought from Paper Makeup Stamps quite some time ago.  I just love the sentiment.  "Friends are angels who lift lift s to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly."  It just speaks for itself!!  I am so greatful to all the wonderful people in my life that I am so proud to call friends.

I am so happy that I was able to make a card today!!  That is two in one week... go me!!  This card is for the Card Makin' Mamas current challenge... which is birthdays.  The picture is not the greatest, I will try again tomorrow when the lighting is better.  I was able to use my new Stampin' Up set and papers.  Hopefully I will be back with some more creations really soon!!  Have a great weekend!

Oh, My!! I actually Stamped!!

This is crazy!!  I haven't posted since FEB!!!  That is so sad!!  I actually cleaned out my stamp room today and was able to find my stuff!!  Yay!  I really thought that I would have gotten to stamp more this summer, but not so much!!  I teach second grade and still have a couple weeks off, so we will see if I can get anything else made!  I hope all of my stamping friends have been doing well.  I truly miss all of you even though I have not been around.  Love you!

Here is what I created tonight for the Little Red Wagon Challenge.  The sentiment is embossed with SU!s white embossing powder. 

I Can't Believe it has Been This Long!

I signed in to my blog today suprised to see that I havent' posted since NOVEMBER!  My life has been super crazy busy.  I started a teaching job this year AND had baby #4.  All of my kids are just amazing... I have had no time to craft with basketball, dance (3 classes between the girls), work, and the baby.  Not to mention all of the regular things that go along with running a home!  I hope to get something made today since I am off work for President's Day.  This is a current picture of little Miss Elise.  I hope everyone is doing well and that I get to catch up soon!

My Snow Family

I hope everyone had a very blessed Thanksgiving.  We had a wonderful holiday filled with great family, food, and memories!!  This card is for the current challenge at Freshly Brewed Challenges which is a Christmas/Winter theme.  The sketch was from last week's Sketch Saturday Challenge... I didn't quite make it!!  Heather (owner of FBD) is one of my very best friends and she is the sweetest lady you will ever meet!!  She drew this image for me last year and just added little Elise in the picture for me a few days ago.  Isn't this sweet??!!  Thank you so much, Heather... love ya!!  Be sure to stop by Freshly Brewed Challenges to see what the DT created... they just blew me away!!  Have a great weekend!

Christmas is Coming!!

A Happy Little Elf!

Ok... now how cute is this image from The Stamping Boutique??!!  This image is called Natalie, and I just adore her!  I am on the DT for TSB but have had to take some time off with the new baby.  When I went to the shop I was amazed at all of the new images Tracey has out for Christmas!!  This is for the Holidays challenge at Card Makin' Mamas and I used the current sketch from Paper Sundaes for this card and all of the papers and ink are SU!  Sorry this is such a short post, but I am just exhausted!  I forgot just how much work new babies are :)!!  Have a great night and thanks for stopping by!

Keepin' It Simple!

Hi there!  This week's challenge at Card Makin' Mamas is to keep it simple.  I was really excited to see this challenge because simple is all I really have time for right now!!  Today I took all four of my kids with me to Costco- BIG mistake!!  It was super crazy... I seriously had at least 4 people tell me I had my hands full with looks of pity!!  Oh, well!  One day I will look back at this time and miss it terribly...

This card was made using SU! inks, sentiment, ribbon and papers.  The cute little turkey is a bobble head from Bugaboo Stamps.  He is just too cute!!

Wow! It has been way too long!

I can't believe how long it has been since I have last posted.  SO much has happened in my life!!  My husband and I welcomed our fourth child on September 25th.  Elise Christine was 7 pounds 6 ounces and 19.5 inches long.  She is just perfect!  (except for a bit of colic, but I think we are turning the corner on that one!)  Allison, our 6 year old jumped off the swing in our back yard and broke her elbow when Elise was just one week old.  She ended up having surgery and got 2 pins put in.  Her cast comes off at the end of the month along with the pins.  My husband had been laid off for almost 11 months and got a job last Friday!!  Thank God for this blessing!  This has been one action packed maternity leave to say the least! 

I have not had much time for crafting,but did get a chance to make a card tonight.  I used this adorable new Angel Cake designed by my beautiful friend Heather.  She owns Fresh Brewed Designs, and is having a DT call right now for her amazing company!!  The papers are all SU! and the Sketch is the current sketch over at Sketch Saturday.  Thank you for spending some time with me!!  I am looking forward to making some more cards and getting back to the blog world!
