Relax and Rejoice

That is the sentiment (from TGF) I chose for this card with the hopes that I get to be this cute little Hugabugg over the weekend at some point!!  The pool we joined this summer opens on Monday and I plan on heading over there for a bit to just chill out!!  Otherwise we have a pretty jammed packed holiday weekend!  Tomorrow I have a 50th anniversary party to go to and Sunday we have a first birthday party to attend and we may even head down to the lake later that day.  I am exhausted just thinking about all of the running we are going to do!  At least the weekend will be spent with tons of friends and family, right?!!   I used my Citrus Stack Pack for the DP and the current sketch at ICS for the layout of this card.

I hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday!!  Enjoy!

TPE and Sketch Saturday

My title isn't very catchy!!  I just can't get into the groove today... it is so stinkin hot here in Saint Louis.  It is in the 90s and really humid.  Yuck!  I went downstairs to my craft room to cool off for a bit and this is what I got to do!  I used orange as my focal point for The Pink Elephant Challenge and the sketch from this week's challenge at Sketch Saturday.  I found this layout to be a lot of fun to work with .  I plan on using it again!  Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you all have an amazing evening!

Startin' My Week Out With Some Stampin'!

Good morning!  I hope you are all having a great start to your day!  It is going to be a HOT one here in Saint Louis!!  I am going to be spending this afternoon with my grandpa, so I thought I would do a little stamping before I take off to see him!!

This is Country Anya from TGF... cute, huh?!  I love her little overalls.  I have been using lots and lots of bright colors lately, so I thought I would try to use some earth tones for this card.  All of the DP is from SU!  I like the feel of the yellows, browns, and greens for a change :)!

I made this card for the following challenges:

Stamp Something:  2 of Something Challenge (2 DPs)
Pile it On:  Out of the Box  (Different colors for me!)
Sew Many Challenges:  Anything Goes  (Country Anya is a digi!)
Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge:  Sketch (I just love this layout!)

Farm Fresh Friday- Mary's Sketch!!
