Poppin Good Birthday

This week's House Mouse Monday Challenge is to Paper Toll. HMMMM... what is that you ask?? I didn't know until I read the challenge!! It is when you stamp an image and then stamp it again and cut parts out to pop up the main image. (that is a confusing way to explain it... you may just want to hop on over to their blog for the tutorial!) I am not sure if you can tell or not, but the pieces of popcorn in the air use this paper tolling. Have a nice evening!

ICSC and a Spoon Full of Sugar

Woo hoo!! I was able to keep the kids entertained long enough to get a double challenge done!! This card is for Inspirational Sketch Challenge's current sketch (love it!) and A Spoon Full of Sugar's current summer challenge.

This image is from an image swap in the Card Makin' Mama group on CafeMom. I used CTMH's Boom-di-ada DP (one of my all time faves!!) and SU! markers and Copics to color this sweet little girl. HMMM.... maybe I can get one more in today??? We shall see!!

Bubbling Over

I made this card for The Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. This Changito image and sentiment weren from a swap in the CMM group on CafeMom. (I think Heather T. sent them- so stinkin cute!) I used a variety of papers: my citrus stack from Carol, SU! cardstock, and CTMH DP. Thanks for stopping by! Sorry for the short post, but I have to go make the kiddies some lunch!

Wish Big

Well, its another Sunshine Monday!! Wow, last week was so busy that it just flew right by on me! This week the DT from Sunshine and Giggles is showcasing the adorable line of stamps on SCS's current sketch challenge. I decided to flip the sketch because it fit my image better. I am pretty happy with the way this turned out. I got my stars out for this one---- Again!!

I used all Stampin Up products to create this cute little guy. He is one of my favorite stamps in the line that Janice has released. Hope everyone has a beautiful week!!

Too Much of a Good Thing...

Ok.... so I pictured this card turning out much cuter than it did. I like it, but my kids were being so bad when I was making it that I had to get up about 50 times!! This is Spa Sophie doing what I wish I were doing right now! I am so jealous of her! This card is for Stamptacular Sunday- the challenge is to use an animal somewhere on your card. I used the current sketch from Sketch Saturday. I just love this sketch!! Ok... off to break up yet another fight! Hope your night is more peaceful than mine!!

A New Hand to Hold

I made this card for Crafty Creation's Stars and Stripes Challenge. I also used this week's sketch from Mojo Monday. I just love this sketch... simple but so many possiblities! This cute little elephant was a RAK from my friend Shemaine. It is a CTMH stamp. The papers I used are all SU. I was so excited to use the SU set "In the Stars" two times this week. I love stars, but always forget to use them in my crafting!!

Super Riley!

When I saw this week's challenge on Stamptacular Sunday (Red, White, Blue and a Star Too!) I knew this would be the perfect image. I have been saving this RAKed image of Riley forever and am so happy to finally be using it. I am also submitting this card into Heather's current challenge in CCC on CafeMom. She has challenged us to create our own background paper. I made my paper with my SU set In the Stars. We also were to include stitching and I chickened out and drew mine on. Someday I will be brave and do the real thing!! I hope you like what I came up with!

Friday Sketchers 57

I was looking for some inspiration tonight to make a Father's Day card for my Dad and came across this week's sketch over at Friday Sketchers. I really like the sketch, but my card seems so plain compared to the DT over there!! I know it is because this is a card for a man and they are always a challenge for me!! Well, even though it is simple, I hope you like it!

House Mouse Monday and CCC

Oh, how I should be sleeping. I am so tired, but this is one of the only times I get to be alone to craft!! I am going to make this post short and sweet... I made this card for the House Mouse Monday challenge and Heather's sketch Challenge on Cute Critters Club on Cafemom.

I just love the Neopolitian theme for HM... yummy colors don't ya think??? I was given this image as an RAK and the DP has been in my stash for quite some time. Ok... off to catch some Z's!!

TGF Sisters and A Spoon Full of Sugar

I was able to get one more card made before I have to leave for the day... :)! This card is for the RW&B challenge in TGF Sisters on CafeMom and the current sketch challenge on A Spoon Full of Sugar's blog. I used SU markers and Copics to color Miss Anya and all of the paper is CTMH.

Ok... I am really leaving to run some errands!

Crafty Creations and Mojo Monday

Good morning! I got up extra early this morning so I could have a little "me" time before my kiddos woke up. I was able to clean and make a card- yahoo!! In about an hour the sitter is coming and I am going to go get a mani/pedi!!!

I am submitting this card to Crafty Creation's current challenge "How does Your Garden Grow?". We needed to showcase anything that grows in a garden, garden tools, ect... I love this image that was given to me in a swap on CafeMom. I have been hoarding it for some time now, but finally got the courage to color it. I used all SU cardstock and Tea Party DP. I am also entering this into Mojo Monday's challenge this week.

Have a Beautiful Day!!

IC Sketches #21

Whew!! I honestly didn't think I would get to make a card and post today. I spent the day with the kids. We went to the show and had so much fun!! When we got back I tackled my stamping room. Stamptacular Sunday Challenge

Today I was able to get a card done for Stamptacular Sunday's challenge- yea!! This week's challenge is to make something for Dad. As I posted yesterday, male cards are hard for me!! I liked the sketch from the Stamp Something Blog. that I decided to use it again.

I just love this little Grilling Riley from Hanna Stamps . I colored him using my SU Stamp & Writes and the PP is The Paper Studio. Hope DH will like it as much as I do!!!

Sketch Something Challenge

My friend Heather mentioned this challenge on Stamp Something's challenge blog and I had to check it out. I had printed off this cute little turtle image freebie from Whimsy Doodles and thought it would look great on this sketch. There are so many cute images on this site, you should check it out!! I used my SU die to create the background and all RAKed papers.

CardPatterns Challenge 19

Tonight I needed to make a birthday card for my son's friend. His birthday party theme is camping- complete with a sleepover in a tent in the back yard!! (my friend must be very brave) I saw this sketch on CardPatterns and fell in love with it.

I used My SU set under the stars. The DP is also SU's Parisian Breeze Specialty. I colored the images using my SU Stamp and Writes. I think it turned out pretty good... cards for boys are always so hard for me. I hope he likes it!!

TGF No Layers Challenge

I made this card for TGF No Layers Challenge. Marie challenged us to ONLY use ONE piece of cardstock, fold it... and that's it!! Ribbbon and other embellies were allowed- thank goodness!! I usesd Flutter Anya for this colorful little card. The cardstock was embossed by my Cuttlebug folder and the oval was cute using my Spellbinders die. I decided that a rainbow effect would be perfect for this cute lil butterfly and used SU inks and dobbers to create the base of the card.

Tropical Tote!!

I saw this sweet little tote on the Whimsie Doodles blog and just had to try my hand at it!! Tracey Feeger has the tutorial on her blog- thanks so much for sharing. This was super easy to make and so stinkin cute!!

The challenge on Crafty Creations this week is to showcase the color purple. I love purple but hardly ever use it in my cardmaking. I used SU cardstock and Tea Party Designer Papers. The cute little image is Hula Anya from The Greeting Farm.
I think I may put a gift card and some earings in this cute little tote for my niece's birthday this weekend. Her favorite color is purple, so it will be perfect!

At first I was stumped on how to start, but remembered I had this Tea Party paper from SU that showcased just the right colors!! I am also posting this for a challenge on CafeMom in The Greeting Farm Sisters Group. We were to case a card from our group's gallery, and I chose one that Carisa designed.
