One Last Post for the Day

WoW! I actually got to post three times today!! It was such a great stress reliever! This card is for Oh, Alice! and Sketch Saturday. The challenge at Oh, Alice this week is to use some sort of text on your card. I chose to type the excerpt from the blog and print it on cardstock. The adorable images are all from The Greeting Farm. This wonderful sketch is this week's challenge at Sketch Saturday. Tomorrow is a crazy day, so I am sure I won't get to post. Have a Happy Monday!

Happy Day

Ok... this is my third post today. I have been under so much stress with my FIL being ill, that today I just had to escape! I made this card for I Love Digi! They gave us a fun sketch to use and asked it to be a card for mom. I know this card looks a bit masculine, but when I saw this adorable image from Meljen Designs, I thought of my mom right away!! She looooves to fish and I know she would love this cute little guy! Don't forget to stop by tomorrow for the Fresh Brewed Designs Fun Foods Blog hop!!! There will be a game and the prize is a free image!!! See you all tomorrow!

Meljen's Designs and OCC Sketch Challenge

I was hopping along in blogland and came across an adorable new Digi Stamp Company called Meljen's Designs. Melissa Jenkins is the designer and has offered many freebies on her blog!! She is putting a slide show together of all the cards made with her images on her blog, too!! Fun! This cute little guy is called Giraffe's Necktie. I thought he was perfect for the current sketch at OCC Sketch Challenge... which I just LOOOOVE by the way!! Their sketches are always so clean and fun! I am glad you were able to stop by... can't believe I actually posted two times today!!

Oh, Alice! Picturing Wonderland

I am just lovin' the Oh, Alice challenges. This week is a sketch challenge... and it is amazing! I decided to use the Fresh Brewed image, Step Into Wonderland. I thought it was just perfect for the sketch!! I used SU! Kaleidoscope Designer Papers and used my Copics to color. My amazingly talented and beautiful friend, Heather Dennis has created many "Alice" images that you can find in her shop, Fresh Brewed Designs. In fact, tomorrow we are having a Fresh Brewed Blog Hop to celebrate the release of her Fun Foods Line!! It is sure to be a blast so stop on by!!

Thanks for spending part of your day with me!! I hope you have a most beautiful day!!

I didn't even have time to let the glue dry on my Primas before I took the picture because I have to fly out the door right now... this adorable Cheshire Cat is from the Freebie Friday last week at Digital Delights. Thanks for stopping by!! Hopefully my life will calm down a bit soon. If you could continue to pray for my FIL (who is in Hospice) I would really appreciate it!!

Fun Color Combo!!

Boy am I BEAT!!! Between everything going on in my family life and this little baby sucking everything out of me, I needed a break today!! I decided to do the color challenge in the Card Makin' Mamas group over at CafeMom. The colors we had to use were craft, robin egg blue, creamy orange, and olive green. I am pretty pleased with the way this card turned out. I used SU! DP and their She's All That set. The layout is the current sketch over at Our Creative Corner. I am off to try to relax and call it a day!

Hope This Helps a Bit...

It has been quite awhile since I have posted. My father-in-law has been in the hospital and yesterday he was put into Hospice. This has been such an emotional roller coaster. My husband's family is very close and they are just beside themselves. Heather made this image for me a couple of weeks ago and it brought tears to my eyes!! She has captured my kiddos perfectly. It was such a nice surprise. I have been very blessed to have her in my life... thanks again!! I am going to send this to my MIL to try to put a smile on her face. I used the Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch for this card. I hope you have a nice weekend, we are just going to hang tight and pray for peace! Please keep my family in your prayers.

Challenges: Sweet Sketch Wednesdays (Sketch) and Stamp, Scrap & Doodle (free challenge)
