I have had a seriously long day, so I am off to bed!!

The challenge for this week on House Mouse Monday is a sketch. I used yet another image from the swap on CafeMom for this one. This has got to be one of my most favorite Hopper images. Too cute!! I used some of my new paper from my LSS and my copics to color this cutie patootie!! I also used diamond stickes for all of the sparkle. I hope you are all having a fabulous week!

Hip-Hippo-Ray!

I had so much fun making this card for the PaperTake Weekly Pick Your Colour Combi challenge!! They gave a list of colors to use and I chose the colors pink and black- obviously!! My 5 year old, Allison and I made this together... she helped me pick out the papers and stamp. She is really starting to get into crafting... yea!! Looks like I will have another partner in crime!!

Crafty Creations Challenge 25- A Sketch!

What a great sketch over at Crafty Creations this week!! At first I was having trouble getting started, but I am happy with the outcome!! ICSketches #26

WOW!! I am in looove with this weeks ICSketches' sketch!! It is really fun.... you should go check it out if you haven't seen it yet!! I was so excited yesterday when I got my mail because my friend Shannon sent out our image swap from Stampers Anonymous on CafeMom!! Inside were tons of fun images to play with and this Gorjuss Girl is one of them. This is my first time using one of these cuties and I just love her!!

House Mouse Monday- White on White

I am lovin this week's HMM challenge-white on white. EVERYTHING has to be white except for your image. This little Hopper has always been one of my favorites... so doin what I would love to be right now!! I used SU! shimmery white paper and white CS. The flower is a find from the dollar store and the little beads coming off of the bow are from SU!'s Prettys Kit. I also used two different CuttleBug folders for this card. I really like the fresh and clean feel of the white on white cards... I will have to remember to do this more often!!

Sunshine Monday!!

Hi there!! Yep, its Monday.... again! My week sure flew by!! I hope you all had a wonderful week! For this week's Sunshine Monday we are all choosing a blog challenge to showcase Sunshine and Giggles Stamps. I chose Our Creative Corner and their Challenge is Triple Play- they gave us a list of embellies and we had to choose at least three to put on our card. Fun!! I chose to use Crystal Effects, Bling, and Ribbon. Sorry for the short post, but I need to call my little one's doctor... she has been running a 103 fever for over 24 hrs... poor little thing is miserable!

Sketch Satuday

I just love the sketch this week at Sketch Saturday. It is so different and lots of fun!! I used some of the new paper I got on my shopping trip today. I wish I knew who made it, but I cut off the name. (I do stuff like that ALL the time!!) I loooove these cute little Java Buggs from the Bella site- aren't they too cute?!! I am going to send this to a good friend of mine that is having a bit of a hard time right now. I hope this makes her smile.

Crafty Creations- Travel

Today I went to my LSS and was sooooooo stinkin excited because they just happened to be having a "garage sale". I found the best deals on stamps and papers. Woo hoo!! I found this "traveling" paper and picked it up (not in the sale) for Crafty Creations Travel challenge. I made an accordian card because I thought it would be fun to put pictures of a trip on the pages. The stickers are by Jolee and were sent to me as an RAK some time ago.

Sweet Sunday Sketch

This card is for the Sweet Sunday Sketches Challenge. This sweet and simple sketch was fun to work with!! I used an RAKed image from a friend on CafeMom- so so sweet!! The DP is from my stash and I honeslty don't know where I got it or who makes it!! Hope your weekend is off to a great start!!

CCC July Sketch Challenge #2

Oops!! I meant to add this card in my last post!! I made this card for Heather's challenge in the Cute Critters Club group over at CafeMom. I am going to make this super short because I seriously can't keep my eyes open any longer!! Good night my friends!

Cupcake Craft Challenge and The Sugarbowl Sketch

The current challenge on The Sugarbowl blog is a super cute sketch and the requirement to use ribbons and/or bows. I used red grosgrain and this sweet green flower ribbon I got at Hobby Lobby today. (half off ALL ribbon sold by the roll!!) I also decided to enter this card in the Cupcake Craft Challenge, which is Blossoms and Butterflies. I used my primas and favorite little SU butterfly stamp from the So Kind set. The adorable Elsybells image was an RAK from a friend on CafeMom. I have had her for soooo long but wasn't ready to let her go until tonight!! (Sad, I know!!) I hope you like what I made for these two challenges!!

Scatter Sunshine

This card is for the fabulous sketch over at Stamptacular Sunday Challenges. I bought these K and Co stamps on clearance at JoAnn's a couple of weeks ago and they are the inspiration for this card. I thought they were so cute and would come in useful sometime- guess that time is now!! The DP is some that I had in my stamp room for A LONG time and I am not sure who makes it. The center image and sentiment are both from CTMH's Summertime set. This is the first time I have used this stamp set and i really like it!! (I have had these forever, too and just never could figure out what I wanted to do with them :)!) So here's to SUMMERTIME!! I am going to make the most of what is left of it and enjoy being with my kids- no matter how crazy they have been making me!! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Frosted Filter

Our current challenge in the Cute Critters Club on CafeMom is to use the Frosted Filter tecnique. This is when you use dyes and create your background paper with a coffee filter. I only have two colors of ink refills, so I was limited on my color scheme!! I think this tecnique really adds texture and depth and I will use it again!! The layout is from Sketch Saturday's current challenge and the adorable Changito was from a friend on Cafemom.

Tri-Shutter Fold Card

WOW! When I first looked at the challenge Dee made for us in the Addicted to Bellas swap on Cafemom, I started to freak out!! It looked so scary to make. When I went to make it today I was so pleasantly surprised to see how easy it was to do!! I used the SU! set Live your dreams to create this card. The challenge for this week over at Crafty Creations is" Birds" and I thought these little birds would add a nice touch to the card. The DP is also by Stampin Up! and it is from the Tea Party series. Thanks so much for stopping by... I have to go get kids to bed. (What in the world are they still doing up? Don't they ever get tired??)

CMM and Cupcake Craft Challenge

This week at Cupcake Craft challenge we are supposed to make a card using only Black and White. I love this combo, but sometimes have a hard time getting started. It was just my luck that my friend Cassandra over at CafeMom created a fabulous sketch for one of our Christmas in July challenges. I saw it and immediately thought black and white!! This image is from SU!'s set called "Lovely as a Tree" and all of the papers are from my stash so I am not sure who makes them!! I embossed the trees, sentiment, and snow with a glittery clear embossing powder. I hope you like what I came up with for these two challenges!! Have a wonderful day!!

My Princess is Turning 5!

My daughter, Allison is turning 5 on Saturday. It is amazing how fast the time goes by!! She is such a fun and beautiful little girl. I am so blessed to be her mom. This is the birthday card I have made for her this year. I used the current sketch over at Mojo Monday's blog and Crafty Creations' Celebration Challenge. Isn't it fun?? The image is from the SU! set Crazy for Cupcakes . The DP has been in my stash for some time and I am not sure who makes it. I am not sure if you can tell in the picture, but I used Dazzling Diamonds fine glitter on the icing and flame to add that Bling that Allison loves so much!

Inspirational Card Sketch Challenge 24

I am lovin' the sketch over at Inspirational Card Sketch Challenge! (like always, Dawn has come up with a fantastic sketch to work with :)) I used SU's stamp set Thoughts and Prayers for the tree in this card. The DP and cardstock are also both from SU. That's it for now, gotta go get my son from camp!! Have a great day!

The Season Defined

Man... I sure do have a hard time getting started on Christmas in July cards! I had a hard time coming up with what I wanted to do for Stamptacular Sunday Challenge's Christmas in July challenge this week. Thank goodness my friend Cass on Card Makin Mamas posted a wonderful challenge!! She gave us a picture to use for inspiration... and it worked! I used the current sketch over at PaperTake Challenges for the layout. The DP was all RAKed and the cardstock is from SU!. The stamps are all from CTMH and they are called "The Season Defined"- I borrowed for my title!! I have not made a card in awhile that didn't include a character of some sort... it was kinda nice to do something different!! Thanks for stopping by!

Better Late than Never!

I am waaay late posting this card... it was for last week's Card Pattern 21 Challenge. I really, really loved this sketch!! I wish I could have gotten this submitted in time, but we were down at the lake celebrating the 4th. I used SU's Tea Party DP and the image is from The Greeting Farm. I used shimmery white paper even though it is really hard to tell in the picture.

The Sugar Bowl Sketch Challenge

The current challenge over at The Sugar Bowl is to follow Judy's Sketch and to include sparkle. WOW!! I love this sketch, but for some reason it was really hard for me!! I am finally happy with the outcome. I used my new Glitter Fun in the Sun stack for all of the DP and SU cardstock. I colored Flutter Anya with my copics, gel pens, and SU markers. The sparkle I chose to use was stickles on her wings. The sentiment was an RAK from my friend Carissa!! Thanks for stopping by!!
